Walkabout II

The Hallberg Rassy 45 center cockpit with teak decks has been designed by Germán Frers. She is cutter/sloop rigged and her sail wardrobe consists of a in mast furling main system, roller furling genoa, staysail, spinnaker and a storm sail. Navigation includes radar, SSB, chart plotter, GPS, satellite communication. Furthermore equipped with solar panels and wind generator. Safety equipment includes life raft life jackets with inbuilt safety harness, PLB's and AIS man overboard. Her layout has a forward guest cabins with V berth and two sea bunks in gangway to forward cabin, toilet off gangway as well as a double aft master cabin with ensuite head.

About Me

I have  sailed since I was  ten years old. Starting  with Sabot's then  Hobie Cat's and then purchased my first Keel boat when I was 18. I'm originally from California and so have cruised up and down the California coast and down the Baja peninsula of Mexico.  

I have more recently cruised/raced extensively the east coast of Australia as well as a passage from New Caledonia to Brisbane.
